The Court has granted final approval of a class action settlement in Brimmer v. City of Overland.
Under the Court-approved Settlement, eligible Class Members may receive a payment of $80.00 if they submit a valid claim.

Settlement Status
The Court has entered an Order granting final approval of the Class Action Settlement Agreement. The settlement is now final and will proceed in accordance with its terms.
The Final Approval Hearing previously scheduled for May 27, 2026 has been completed.
The deadlines to object or exclude yourself from the Settlement have passed. All Class Members who did not opt out are bound by the Settlement.
Who is Included
All individuals who paid a Special Deterrent Fee to the City of Overland on or after August 4, 2012 are included in the Settlement Class.
Settlement Benefits
Each eligible Class Member who submits a valid claim will receive a payment of $80.00.
